Hi, I’m Adam — the face (and hands!) behind Wisteria Wood Designs.

I live in Hampshire with my wonderful wife, Lianne, and our daughter Florence, who’s four and a half — and we’ve got a brand new addition to the family on the way. After years performing magic on cruise ships around the world, I made the decision to spend more time at home — to be the kind of dad who’s actually around. And that’s how Wisteria Wood Designs came to life.

For most of my working life, I’ve been a presenter and a magician — I’ve performed on cruise ships, hosted corporate events, and done close-up magic at weddings across the UK. I’ve entertained thousands of people with sleight of hand and comedy… but now, I spend my time in a workshop, surrounded by sawdust and sketchpads, making things for people’s big day instead of performing on it.

Woodworking has always been a passion — maybe it’s in the blood. Many in my family are carpenters or master craftsmen, and I suppose it was only a matter of time before I caught the bug. There’s something magical (yes, still magical) about taking a design from your head or a screen and holding the finished piece in your hands — especially when that piece becomes part of someone’s wedding.

What makes Wisteria Wood Designs different? For starters — it’s just me. I design it, I build it, I deliver it. If you ring the number, I answer. Every item I create is made with care, and every couple I work with gets the personal attention they deserve. I know how much planning goes into a wedding — how long people dream about it, how stressful it can be, and how important it is that everything feels just right.

So whether it’s a keepsake box to hold your vows, giant LOVE letters to light up your barn, or an engraved guestbook that gets passed around during speeches — I’m proud to help bring that little bit of magic to your day. And unlike a magician… I’ll tell you exactly how I do it.
